As an American and someone who retired from a 30-year career working in Homeland Security and the Dept of Justice, I understand the deep and abiding desire to protect your country and the freedoms that came with independence. Russia/Putin cannot be allowed to take that away from you. All of Ukraine and all Ukrainians are an inspiration to America as you fight to stop this invasion but none so much as the Ukrainian soldiers fighting with their blood and souls.
