Jason P Gresh

Jason P. (JP) Gresh is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and community leader, focused on international development and education.  JP’s experience in the Army as a foreign area officer brought him into close contact with foreign cultures across eastern Europe, especially Ukraine and Russia.  He is a longtime supporter of Ukraine ever since witnessing Ukraine’s Revolution of Dignity on the Maidan.  His last assignment in the Army was at the Secretary of Defense’s office for Ukraine and Russia, helping streamline military assistance to Ukraine.  JP is on the board of the Foreign Area Officer Association, Duluth Sister Cities International, and the Spirit Mountain Recreation Area Authority, living with his wife in Duluth, Minnesota.  He is a Senior Non-Resident Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).  He has written professionally on security issues and contributed to several professional publications. JP speaks both Ukrainian and Russian.
